Happy Birthday Jesus!!

We are so thankful for the gift of salvation and eternal life that God so graciously gave us through the birth and death of his son. I hope that in the midst of all the presents and lights, and holiday traditions that Marc and I are able to teach Matthew about the true meaning of Christmas and the baby Jesus that was born so long ago. This year we used our nativity scene to tell him the story of Jesus birth (He liked holding the little wooden figurines...and yes, he did put some of them in his mouth...) and we sang "Happy Birthday" to Jesus Christmas night. Hopefully, next year Matthew can sing along with us.
